Arsenal are reportedly only willing to sell Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City if they cough up £80m.

Arsenal are allegedly hoping that Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich revive their interest in Alexis as the Gunners really, really don’t want to sell to their rivals. Again.

According to an EXCLUSIVE in the Sunday Express, Arsene Wenger is set to turn down all bids from Manchester City. The report claims that Arsenal are unwilling to strengthen a rival club, even if that means the Chilean walks for free next year when his contract has come to an end, which is pretty much what the boss has been saying all along.

This is why they want PSG or Bayern, who were previously allegedly priced out of the running, to return for the 28-year-old. The Gunners can cash in on a player who clearly wants to leave but not hand him to a direct title rival.

story trackerElsewhere, the Mirror are reporting that Arsenal will accept an offer from City, as long as it’s in the region of £80m – £30m more than their supposed opening bid, which the Manchester club are preparing.

In a matter of a week, the tide has completely changed from the Chilean press saying Alexis will stay at Arsenal, at least for remainder of his contract, to them insisting that he’s almost definitely leaving for City.
