How do Alexandre Lacazette’s wages stack up against his new Arsenal teammates’?

Lacazette is set to receive a whopping £200k-per-week at Arsenal, taking his wages above the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, claim the Daily Star.

If Ozil and Alexis both sign new deals, they’re both set to receive a hefty payrise but for the moment, both stars earn around £140k-per-week. £60k less than Lacazette.

The 26-year-old is Arsenal’s second signing of the summer transfer window and also the second player to have their wages pushed above the two heavy-weights.

Sead Kolasinac, who signed from Schalke on a free, reportedly earns £150k-per-week with the Gunners.

Lacazette earns £90k-per-week more than long-term Arsenal players Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey, and double what 22-year-old Hector Bellerin is now receiving.

The France international earns four times what Gabriel does, five times that of Lucas Perez, and a whopping 20 times more than Rob Holding.

If these figures are accurate, it looks like Arsenal’s wage structure is getting overhauled in order to compete financially with other top clubs and players will no longer have the incentive to leave in search of a bigger pay packet.
