The results are in and it turns out that a whopping 61% of you lot prefer Arsenal’s third kit for the 2017/18 season to the other two.

After Arsenal’s new, blue away kit for next season was revealed, with the strip set to be debuted against Benfica on Saturday afternoon, we put it to you which 2017/18 shirt you prefer and the results are pretty conclusive.

1. The winner

A massive 61% – that’s almost two thirds of you – prefer the sharp-looking, dark grey ensemble with bright pink detailing.

Although some may like it a bit too much…

2. Runner-up

In second place, by quite a long way with 29% of the vote, we have the traditional-looking home kit.

Red with white sleeves. You can’t really go wrong, except the collar seems to be producing some mixed responses.

3. Loser

However, with just 10% of the vote was the third kit, which evoked the biggest response of the three: disgust.

The main gripe appears to be with the colour, since blue is often a colour that represents Arsenal’s rivals, which is something the club appear to have tried to combat by insisting that they’ve used blue in their kits since 1892 and therefore is it traditional.

However, Arsenal Twitter has spoken, and over on Arsenal Facebook, it’s pretty much the same story.

At the time of writing, the third kit had 79 votes. However, the away kit was slightly in the lead with 16 votes compared to the home kit’s 14.
