The big story doing the rounds today (Tuesday) is still Alexandre Lacazette’s move to Arsenal but there’s also plenty of other news and gossip that you may not want to miss.

Here are the five Arsenal stories that you won’t want to miss today.

5. Lacazette deal edges closer

The 26-year-old is apparently in London to complete his move to Arsenal with the announcement set to take place in the coming days.

There were reports that Arsenal’s photographers were awaiting the striker at Colney but the images which accompanied these claims were proven to be fake.

4. Mbappe and his father meet with PSG

Mbappe and his dad have apparently had a successful meeting with PSG, who have reassured him that he’ll be the main man if he signs for them.

Monaco are obviously reluctant to sell the 18-year-old to their direct rivals and the striker is said to still not have come to a conclusion either way.

3. Bad news for Cazorla

2. Will Giroud stay or will he go?

One minute Olivier Giroud wants to stay at Arsenal, then he’s going to West Ham, then he’s signing for Everton, then he’s staying again…?

Speaking to the Arsenal Weekly Podcast, he said: “I won a few titles in my career, that is an important thing, but there is another thing which is important for me. And that’s the people [see you as a] loyal warrior on the pitch – that you always give your best for the team.

“And that’s why I want to carry on my good journey at Arsenal and I always want to give my best. I would love to win another title, or maybe more until the end of my contract. The motivation is here, always doing your best to make your family proud.”

We can’t keep up.

It’s the news everyone’s been hoping for: it looks as if Alexis could… COULD… be staying at Arsenal next season, as Arsene Wenger always said he would, even if it means running down the final year of his contract.
