Arsenal are reportedly set to offer Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil 20% pay rises if the Gunners can regain their place in the top four next season.

In a bid to convince both Ozil and Alexis to sign contract extensions with Arsenal, the Gunners are apparently set to offer both stars 20% pay rises if the team can finish in the top four next season and regain their Champions League space.

After Arsenal finished in fifth last season, Ozil and Alexis’s futures at the club have been in doubt with both having just one year left on their current deal.

Both 28-year-olds have reportedly turned down £250k-per-week contracts and are demanding £300k-per-week to stay in north London, which the Gunners are willing to work with if they can get back into the Champions League, claims the Daily Mail.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is also set to run into the final year of his contract and has been linked with a move to Liverpool this summer, is allegedly also likely to be offered a similar deal.

While Ozil hasn’t exactly been inundated with offers so far this summer, if the media is to be believed, Alexis has been strongly linked with both Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
