Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery admitted the prospect of signing Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe is “attractive”, hinting that the club could make an approach this summer.

The 18-year-old centre-forward has been coveted by a host of clubs around Europe as a result of his outstanding campaign at Monaco.

Mbappe scored 15 goals in 17 Ligue 1 starts last season, leading the club to the Champions League semi-finals and has the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid after him.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been mooted and Emery made no secret of his admiration for the teenager.

“ When we talk about Mbappe, here in Spain we talk about Real Madrid and Barcelona. Me, I am in Paris, with PSG. I say, ‘what could be more beautiful than being able to represent a French team?’,” said Emery, reports ESPN.

“If it is true that he is to become an iconic figure, one of those footballing icons of the future, he could be that here. With all due respect for Monaco, he comes from Paris and he has family in Paris.,” he added.
