David Ospina’s proposed transfer to Fenerbahce could collapse, despite terms being agreed.

  • Arsenal have reportedly increased their asking price at the last minute
  • Ospina and Fenerbahce had reportedly agreed personal teams
  • Fenerbahce said to be frustrated by the change

According to Aspor, Arsenal have increased their asking price right at the last minute, leaving Fenerbache frustrated.

Ospina had reportedly agreed personal terms with the Turkish club and the move seemed set to go ahead for just £3m.

However, it seems Arsenal believe that they can get more for Ospina and have let Fenerbahce know.

The development may have been prompted by supposed La Liga interest in Ospina. Arsenal may have increased the asking price knowing there is more competition for the goalkeeper.

Fenerbahce could pull out of the deal as they’re looking at Malaga’s Carlos Kameni as an alternative.

Ospina has struggled to get regular games at Arsenal and wants to leave for more first team football else where.
