David Ospina has been talking about Arsene Wenger, the Colombian national side, and his future at Arsenal.

Ospina has been heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer with the goalkeeper making his feelings on his lack of playing time very clear.

However, when asked about his future at the club by Hoy Diario del Magdalena recently, he revealed that while he’s looking for ‘continuity’, Arsene Wenger is a great coach and he still has a contract with Arsenal.

“For my future, the reality is that I have a contract with Arsenal, there is nothing else, I will have some meetings to make decisions, I want continuity and we will wait for the best decision. Family in England and that’s why I’ll make the decision peacefully,” Ospina said.

“(Wenger)’s a great coach, he’s proven it at Arsenal and he’s been in a great team for so long. I’m happy for that decision he made (to sign a new two-year deal).”

Speaking about his national team, Ospina said, “We have to be compact on the lines and when we recover to be fast, but we have very talented players who demonstrate things in complicated leagues.”

The Colombia international has reportedly already agreed to move to Turkish side Fenerbahce for around £3m after struggling for game time in north London.

The 28-year-old wants to be number one and he’s not even nearly good enough to fill that role with the Gunners.

Therefore, despite having a couple of years left on his current deal, it’d be most unusual to see Ospina stay at Arsenal this summer.
