Long-term Arsenal target, M’Baye Niang, has reportedly snubbed Everton in order to push for a move to the Gunners.

  • Everton interested in signing Niang
  • Niang snubs Toffees in case of Arsenal move
  • Striker scored two and assisted same amount on loan at Watford last season
  • Milan asking for £15m for 22-year-old

Niang has reportedly turned down a move to Everton in the hope that Arsenal will sign him this summer.

The Gunners recently supposed ‘reignited’ their interest in the striker, who AC Milan are apparently willing to sell for £15m, and the 22-year-old seems to be pushing for a move.

Niang enjoyed a successful loan spell at Watford last season, making his debut against Arsenal at the Emirates during the Hornets’ 2-1 win.

He scored two and assisted two in 16 appearances. Therefore, he’s at least familiar with the Premier League. However, whether Arsenal actually choose to make him their second summer signing ahead of the new season remains to be seen.

The Gunners’ first match of the campaign against Leicester kicks off on 12 August – tickets for the next Arsenal game can be found here at Football Ticket Pad.

After signing for Milan from Caen in 2012, Niang also spent loan spells at Montpellier and Genoa.
