Juventus reportedly want to sign Sevilla midfielder, Steven N’Zonzi, and are ready to use rumoured Arsenal target, Mario Lemina, to do so.

Juventus are reportedly willing to offer Sevilla £28m (€32m) plus bonuses or Lemina for former Stoke midfielder, N’Zonzi.

N’Zonzi’s release clause was initially thought to be £35m (€40m) but Sevilla quickly explained that this wasn’t the case at all and made it clear that they were willing to talk with Juve over a potential transfer.

“We have not talked about a clause,” Sevilla president Jose Castro said.

“I won’t close the door to Juventus. We just want to emerge from this whole situation with some kind of benefit.”

Arsenal have been linked with Lemina this summer and were apparently ready to offer £16m for the 23-year-old.

N’Zonzi made 46 appearances for the La Liga club last term and still has three years left on his contract. Lemina, meanwhile, made 29 and also has three years left.

Elsewhere, Watford are being reported to have made a £17m of their own for the Gabon international.
