Arsenal could be making a drastic change to their frontline ahead of next season if rumours are to be believed.

The weekend saw plenty of transfer talk and rumours of long-serving existing players being linked elsewhere. So what have you missed?

Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal do appear to be the running for Lacazette’s signature and were told by the Lyon chairman to pay £44m to stand a chance of signing the striker this summer. The Gunners are somewhat unopposed currently as Atletico Madrid’s deal to sign Lacazette broke down due to their transfer ban.

Olivier Giroud

Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas also admitted the club had approached Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud about a potential transfer but were told the 30-year-old was keen to fight for his place under Arsene Wenger rather than leave.

Anthony Martial

“The next Thierry Henry” could be making the switch to the Emirates Stadium this summer, with reports suggesting Arsenal are keen to sign out-of-form Manchester United forward Anthony Martial. The Gunners will only make an approach when Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe is officially off the table.

Theo Walcott

West Ham United are reportedly ready to spend £25m for Arsenal’s Theo Walcott. If such an offer presented itself, there’s little chance the Gunners would turn it down. And given how Walcott fell out of favour last season, Arsenal might consider offers for half the price.

Leon Goretzka

The Arsenal-linked Schalke midfielder recently spoke out about the speculation on his future, saying: “I do not want to say anything about the transfer rumours, I’m focusing on the Confederations Cup. If there are facts, I will announce them.”

Chris Willock

Reports are suggesting Arsenal’s Chris Willock is on his way to join Benfica this summer. The 19-year-old rejected a new deal with the Gunners and is keen for a move to the Portuguese Primeira Liga in search for more playing time. Manchester City are also keeping tabs on his progress.

Ezri Konsa

Arsenal are fighting with Tottenham for hot prospect Ezri Konsa from Charlton. The 19-year-old helped England U20s win the World Cup and has a lot of interest from other top Premier League clubs.

Emiliano Martinez

Arsenal’s Emi Martinez is believed to be a summer target for Valencia. The La Liga side are willing to pay around £5m but his exit will leave Arsenal short on options between the sticks given they could lose Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina in the coming weeks.

Henry Onyekuru

The Arsenal, West Ham and Newcastle-linked striker has been granted a UK visa, meaning he can now choose which Premier League club to join.
