After Laurent Koscielny was recently reported to have sparked the interest of an unnamed Chinese Super League club, the centre-back has been listed as one of the mega-rich league’s targets this summer.

  • Koscielny set to be one of CSL’s targets this summer
  • Chinese Super League recently had 100% tax on foreign players implemented
  • Unnamed Chinese club hoping to ‘prise’ centre-back away from Arsenal with mega-offer
  • Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Costa, and Wayne Rooney also linked with moves to China

Koscielny was recently linked with a move to an unnamed Chinese Super League club who are hoping to tempt the France international away from Arsenal this summer with a massive offer.

As a result, while Kos only signed a new deal with the Gunners at the beginning of 2016, and is happy in north London, the Daily Star have named him as one of the Chinese Super League’s targets.

Despite bosses implemented an 100% tax rule on foreign players, meaning that clubs have to pay double if they want to bring in players from other countries, the Chinese Super League is still mega-rich.

Therefore, while the 31-year-old moving there this summer is highly unlikely, we could see several big European players head East very soon.
