Inter Milan have taken Manchester United target Ivan Perisic off the market.

  • Failure to land Perisic could see United look at other targets
  • It may have an effect on Arsenal targets, particularly Anthony Martial

After Arsenal failed in their attempts to sign him in April, United had made the Croatian winger a top target this summer and were looking to agree a £44m deal. However, new Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has reportedly taken Perisic off the market as he wants to keep him at the club, according to the Daily Mail.

This could force United to look at other targets, some of which may be shared with Arsenal. In particular, it could directly effect the future of Anthony Martial, who Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing.

United would be even more reluctant to allow Martial to leave if they’re unable to sign their preferred targets in his position. They may also looks at the likes of Thomas Lemar or Riyad Mahrez, two players who have been heavily linked to Arsenal this summer.
