Arsenal will reportedly face competition from Inter Milan if they’re going to sign Arda Turan from Barcelona this summer.

Arsenal have reportedly offered Barcelona £26.3m (€30m) for Turan, despite his agent previously claiming he’s not going anywhere, and the La Liga giants have allegedly told the 30-year-old midfielder that he can leave the club this summer.

However, Inter Milan, who have been linked with the ex-Turkey international in the past, are keen and, according to Spanish outlet, Marca, could be willing to make the Gunners’ lives difficult by putting in a bid themselves.

Turan, who recently retired from playing with the Turkish international team after assaulting a journalist, still has three years left on his deal with Barcelona after only signing from Atletico Madrid in 2015. Therefore, the Catalans are allegedly holding out for the best deal possible.

story trackerTuran scored 13 goals and assisted seven in 30 appearances across all competitions last season and is apparently on the look-out for regular game time.
