Kieran Gibbs is allegedly willing to see out the final year of his Arsenal contract at the club in hope of regaining a first team spot.

Gibbs has just one year left on his current Arsenal deal, which reports claim the 27-year-old is willing to see out in north London in hope that Arsene Wenger will allow him to regain a first team spot.

The issue is, Arsenal have just signed former Schalke full-back, Sead Kolasinac, which brings down Gibbs’s chances of getting regular first team football down even lower.

A number of others clubs, including Stoke, Newcastle, Brighton and Watford, have all been linked with the left-back, who played just 703 minutes in the Premier League last season. However, the Englishman appears reluctant to leave the club he’s been at since the age of 14.
