Gibbs has just one year left on his current Arsenal deal, which reports claim the 27-year-old is willing to see out in north London in hope that Arsene Wenger will allow him to regain a first team spot.
The issue is, Arsenal have just signed former Schalke full-back, Sead Kolasinac, which brings down Gibbs’s chances of getting regular first team football down even lower.
A number of others clubs, including Stoke, Newcastle, Brighton and Watford, have all been linked with the left-back, who played just 703 minutes in the Premier League last season. However, the Englishman appears reluctant to leave the club he’s been at since the age of 14.Click here for reuse options!
