The FA have announced the date for the FA Women’s Cup final.

They have also disclosed the starting date for the FA WSL 2017/18 season that will see the League go to a winter season for the first time since its creation.

The FA Women’s Cup final will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday May 5, 2018.

Here are the full FA Women’s Cup dates:

  • Sun 03/09 1st qualifying round
  • Sun 17/09 2nd qualifying round
  • Sun 08/10 3rd qualifying round
  • Sun 12/11 1st round proper
  • Sun 03/12 2nd round proper
  • Sun 07/01/18 3rd round proper
  • Sun 04/02/18 4th round proper ( FA WSL1&2) teams enter at that stage.
  • Sun 18/02/18 5th round proper
  • Sun 18/03/18 6th round proper
  • Sun 15/03/18 Semi-finals
  • Sat 05/05/18 Final at Wembley Stadium

The FA WSL 2017/18 season will start on Saturday September 23, 2017 and according to the previous published calendar from the FA, it will end on the weekend 19/20 May.

As usual we should expect some surprises in the final league schedule as the FA seems unable to produce a decent one having not managed to do so since the League’s inception in 2011.
