Chile manager Juan Antonio Pizzi says Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez isn’t thinking about his future at the club and is focused on helping his side in the Confederations Cup.

As reported in the Express, when asked if he was sure Sanchez would give Chile his full concentration in the tournament, Pizzi replied: “ 100 per cent, 100 per cent. This is related to what I have said before.”

“There is so many things around football players that are related to their individual careers, their personal lives.

“But in this sort of situation, right before a tournament as important as this, players forget those things because what they really care about is representing their country and Chile.”

Sanchez enjoyed a standout campaign at Arsenal, scoring 24 goals in 38 Premier League last season. He’s been linked with Bayern Munich and Manchester City and has so far refused to engage in contract talks to stay at the Emirates past the summer of 2018.
