Barcelona are reportedly willing to pay €100m for Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder, Marco Verratti, who’s also been linked with Arsenal.

L’Equipe [via 101greatgoals], claim that Verratti is keen to leave PSG this summer.

The midfielder apparently met with PSG sporting director, Antero Henrique, last week and informed him of his intentions. However, it’s expected that Henrique won’t let Verratti, who made 43 appearances over all competitions last term, go without a fight.

Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting that Barcelona are willing to offer €100m, plus €10m-per-year in wages.

However, apparently, even this won’t be enough to convince PSG to sell. In fact, the Ligue 1 giants are said to be holding out for a whopping €150m – a sum that Arsenal almost definitely would never pay.

Chelsea and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the 24-year-old but whether they’re willing to meet such a massive asking price remains to be seen.

Verratti has four years left on his current deal with PSG, so unless clubs are willing to play the waiting game, they may have to cough up the cash.
