Barcelona have reportedly given Arsenal a 10-day deadline to sell Hector Bellerin before they withdraw their interest.

  • Barcelona frustrated with ‘selling club’ Arsenal for not selling
  • Bellerin thought to be open to move but won’t force it
  • Wenger refuses to set solid transfer fee
  • Kroenke tells Bellerin he is not for sale

While Barcelona have been heavily linked with a move for Bellerin, they appear to be growing impatient over the whole saga, if Mundo Deportivo are to be believed.

The Catalan giants are frustrated with Arsene Wenger’s reluctance to sell the 22-year-old seeing as the Gunners are a ‘selling club’.

If Arsenal don’t play ball within 10 days, the report claims, Barca will withdraw their interest in order to focus on their other priority signing this summer: Paris Saint-Germain’s Marco Verratti.

Despite earlier reports claiming that Arsenal are demanding £44m for Bellerin, Mundo Deportivo claims that Wenger hasn’t even provided the La Liga club with solid transfer fee.

story trackerBellerin signed a new deal with Arsenal at the end of 2016 and while, at the time, he seemed positive over the decision, a change in personal circumstances, which have seen his family move back to Barca, means that the Spain u21 international is a little more open to the idea of moving back ‘home’ than he once was.

It’s thought that the defender won’t force a move, so if Barcelona want to give up, good riddance.
