European football expert Julien Laurens believes the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil has to be resolved before Arsenal sign any more new players are let others leave.

Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil have both rejected new contracts to stay at Arsenal after the summer of 2018, but it’s still likely they will remain at the Emirates Stadium until the end of their respective deals.

There are still rumours flying around about Sanchez, with Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munch reportedly keen on his signature. And Julian Laurens believes this is holding Arsenal up in the summer transfer window.

“ I think nothing can happen without sorting out the Sanchez and Ozil situation, that’s the problem. That’s why I think people at the club are maybe getting a little bit frustrated,” he said on ESPN, reports the Express.

“If nothing happens with Sanchez and Ozil, the rest of the business can’t be done, they need to sort that out. Whether they stay or go, they need to sort that situation out before thinking about signing other players or even selling other players.”
