Arsenal and Tottenham target, Thomas Lemar, has reportedly opted to join the red side of north London this summer.

Both Arsenal and Spurs have apparently been keen on Monaco winger, Lemar, this summer. However, the 21-year-old has reportedly chosen to side with the Gunners over their north London rivals, despite Spurs finishing higher in the league last season.

While there has been talk of a ‘powershift’ following Tottenham’s ‘impressive’ campaign last term, Arsenal are still the bigger team, even without Champions League football, and Arsene Wenger has a considerable amount of pulling power with French players.

story trackerArsenal are said to be willing to spend £25m on the France international, who featured 55 times for Monaco last season, scoring 14 and assisting 17.

Lemar has three years left on his deal with the Ligue 1 side.

Liverpool and Juventus are also said to be interested.
