Arsenal, Manchester United, and Juventus are all reportedly ready to fight it out to sign Paris Saint-Germain central midfielder, Blaise Matuidi.

  • Matuidi has one year left on current deal
  • Has won four Ligue 1 titles with PSG
  • Manchester United ‘in contact’ with midfielder
  • Arsenal have ‘held talks’ with 30-year-old
  • Juve said to have made £13.3m bid

Arsenal are have allegedly ‘held talks’ with Matuidi over a move to north London this summer.

The 30-year-old has just one year left on his deal with PSG and, considering he’s won four Ligue 1 titles with the French club and become a key first team player, he’s apparently a man in demand.

United are also said to be in contact with the France international but a move to Manchester is said to be unlikely at this point, since they’re now being linked with a £40m move for Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.

Juventus appear to be in pole position to sign Matuidi, with Corriere dello Sport claiming that the player has agreed to move to the Serie A giants, which his agent, Mino Raiola, has supposedly been pushing for.

L’Equipe say that the Old Lady have launched a £13.3m (€15m) bid for the star.
