Arsenal unveiled their PUMA strip for the 2017/18 campaign, featuring Alexis Sanchez, Petr Cech, Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud in the promotional picture, among others.

A number of guests were invited to the kit launch at Kings Cross station, such as former defender Martin Keown and ex-winger Robert Pires, giving their opinions on the Arsenal jersey for next season.

Celebrity DJ and Arsenal fan Gilles Peterson was also present and entertained supporters near-by, while more well-known faces are due to make an appearance later in the day.

Arsenal have released a series of photos on social media with the hashtag #wearethearsenal, some featuring Nacho Monreal and Hector Bellerin.

Sanchez and Ozil have both rejected new contracts at Arsenal but it’s likely the club will keep the pair until next season regardless, risking losing them on a free transfer if they can’t agree to a contract extension. They were both present in the pictures.

There was no David Ospina at the kit launch, however, with the Colombian reportedly close to a move to Fenerbahce or LA Galaxy.

But Arsenal will be focusing on next season with their new strip and new restructuring behind the scenes as they bid to challenge on all fronts in 2017/18.
