Alexis Sanchez is now reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ with Bayern Munch.

Alexis is said to be on his way to Bayern this summer with talks apparently progressing into the ‘advanced’ stage.

According to TransferMarketWeb, the Chilean is edging closer to an Arsenal exit and will receive £7.5m in annual wages from the Bundesliga giants.

Alexis has entered into the final year of his contract in north London and while Arsene Wenger insists both he and Mesut Ozil will remain at Arsenal next season whether they extend their current deals or not, the rumours that at least Alexis will leave soon are deafening.

“This summer, first of all, they will stay at the club and hopefully we can extend their contracts,” Wenger told BeINSports recently.

“You cannot weaken the club and weaken the team. You want to strengthen the team. Unless you find a player of the same calibre. If they want absolutely to leave.

“I believe at the moment we are not on that front. We are just focused on keeping the team together and see how to strengthen the team.

“When you sign a contract somewhere, you commit to give your best until the end of the last day of your contract. I would say why should they not give their best?”

The Gunners have allegedly offered both stars £280k-per-week contracts. However, while Ozil looks likely to stay, the same can’t be said for Alexis, who wants Champions League football.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain have also all been linked with the forward.
