Liverpool left back Alberto Moreno looks set to leave Anfield this summer, but he isn’t believed to be a target for Arsenal this time round.

  • Moreno has disappointed since joining the Reds
  • Napoli, Sevilla and two unnamed Premier League clubs are interested
  • Arsenal were monitoring Moreno while he was still at Sevilla

The Spaniard has failed to impress since joining Liverpool from Sevilla and spent 2016/17 on the fringes. With James Milner a more reliable option at left back last season, Moreno doesn’t seem to have much of a future in Merseyside.

And according to the Liverpool Echo, Napoli, Sevilla and two unnamed Premier League clubs are interested in signing him. Moreno will reportedly cost around £15m this summer.

Arsenal were in the market for a left-back before signing Sead Kolasinac and were linked with Moreno back when he was a hot prospect Sevilla. But with Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal competing with Kolasinac for game time, Arsenal are overstocked at left-back.
