Wenger on his future, Europa League, transfer targets. Manchester United & more

Arsene Wenger spoke to the press on Thursday morning ahead of Arsenal’s clash at the Emirates against Manchester United.

Wenger was typically cagey about his future at the club, admitting that he was wrong when he claimed back in February that he would announce his decision in March or April.

He also denied that missing out on the Champions League would affect any summer transfers, and vowed to take the Europa League seriously if Arsenal fail to finish in the top four this season, which is looking likely.

Wenger refused to ‘speculate’ on any weaknesses that United may have, and instead insisted that they have a strong squad ahead of the Premier League clash on Sunday.

The manager also gave the latest team news and more.

Arsenal v United kicks off on Sunday 7 May at 4pm.
