Sky Sports have only gone and used up their quota of 126 live fixtures for this season and therefore left themselves unable to show Arsenal’s clash against Everton on Sunday.

  • Sky will be showing Liverpool and Manchester City matches
  • Used considerable amount of quota on title race between Chelsea and Spurs
  • BT Sport ran out two weeks ago

According to the Telegraph, Sky Sports decided at the last minute to show Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Sunderland midweek instead of their final match against the Toffees in what will be a top-four decider.

Obviously the broadcaster didn’t take into account the fact that Chelsea would win at West Brom and Manchester United would be out of the race for the top four so soon, and therefore used a considerable amount of their quota on following the Blues’ live fixtures.

Therefore, although Sky Sports have shown 11 Premiership matches over the past week, Arsenal’s fight for a top four space against Everton on Sunday won’t be one of them.

They are, however, showing Liverpool’s clash against Middlesbrough and Manchester City’s against Watford.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, BT Sport ran of games they could show two weeks ago!
