Hector Bellerin is subject to interest from Manchester City once more.

  • Pep Guardiola is keen on the Spanish wing back
  • Spanish sources claim a £35 million could be made
  • Barcelona also said to be interested

Spanish paper Sport claim that Guardiola and City Director of Football Txiki Begiristain are admirers of Bellerin and wish to lure him to Manchester.

This isn’t the first time City have registered an interest in Bellerin. Arsenal rejected enquiries for the play last summer.

Sport reckon a bid of £35 million could be made, one that Arsenal will surely reject.

Bellerin has been very public about his intention to stay at Arsenal amid speculation that he could leave the club for either City or Barcelona. He stated that he would not have signed a new long-term deal with the club if he intended on leaving.

Still, that won’t stop Spanish media from linking the player with a move away, especially if it’s to Barcelona.

Catalan-based paper Mundo Deportivo claim that Bellerin is a high priority target for Barcelona this summer. However, Sport have City as the favourites to sign him, as contacts between Barcelona and Bellerin have quieted down.

While there is plenty of uncertainty around the futures of some players, Bellerin is surely one we won’t need to worry about.
