According to his teammate, Naldo, Sead Kolasinac has told them all he is leaving and said his goodbyes.

It is widely assumed that the defender has signed for Arsenal on a free transfer, with the deal sorted before Arsenal’s Europa League fate was sealed.

Speaking to WAZ in Germany after their game against Ingolstadt, Naldo said, “It was always a matter of whether Seo remained, or not, three or four days ago, he informed us that he was going, that’s a pity for us, Seo has played an outstanding season, a great personality and a great footballer.”

As you can see from that quote, Naldo didn’t reveal Kolasinac’s destination but north London seems to be where he is headed, raising questions over the future of Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs.

One of them will surely have to give way as Kolasinac will not be arriving as second-choice and three into two does not go.

The likeliest candidate for departure is Gibbs whose patience has seemed limitless at times. He never moans about not playing even though he must know he is worth a starting shirt somewhere else in the Premier League.

Nacho has been linked with a move to Atletico Bilbao, a destination he is open to, but on form alone, Arsenal will surely want to keep the Spaniard.
