Serge Gnabry is a transfer target for RB Leipzig according to recent reports with the former Arsenal man looking likely to move again this summer.

Gnabry has been very impressive this season for Werder Bremen, and the ex-Arsenal youngster is gathering serious interest from other clubs.

RB Leipzig’s head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl admitted to Sky Sports News that he’s interested in acquiring Gnabry:

“Gnabry is an interesting player,” he said.

“He is a very fast player with a good finish and certainly one of the hottest properties in German football.

“He’s a player who would fit into our plans.”

Gnabry left Arsenal last summer for Werder Bremen and has established himself as one of the key first team players under Alexander Nouri.

At the time, there were reports this was a back-door move to Bayern Munich, and the German giants are also linked with a move for Serge who refused a new Arsenal contract despite the club standing by him after a serious knee injury.

The 21-year-old left for a reported fee of €5 million and this summer that price could be at least three times bigger.

Since leaving Arsenal, Gnabry has finally unleashed his potential, scoring 10 goals and making two assists in 24 appearances for Bremen. There’s no doubt, however, that he would have been a first-team regular this season in London had he remained.

In that time, he also earned his first senior cap for German national team, scoring a hat-trick in his debut against San Marino.

Borussia Dortmund are also mentioned in reports as a possible destination for a young German.
