Crystal Palace have started negotiations with representatives of Wilfried Zaha according to a recent report on Sky Sports amid rumours that Arsenal and Tottenham are circling.

The ex-Manchester United winger didn’t manage to establish himself at Old Trafford after a £15 million move in a summer Arsenal came close to signing him. After only two-and-a-half seasons Zaha was brought back permanently to Selhurst Park.

The 24-year-old winger has played a vital role for Sam Allardyce in a tough battle to keep his team out of relegation zone.

The Ivorian international was linked with several clubs in January, with the most serious interest coming from Tottenham who even held talks with Crystal Palace in order to negotiate the player’s transfer fee.

The versatile winger is adapted to playing on both wings and he can often switch sides during the match without any problem. He’s very capable dribbler and has an average of 4.1 dribbles per game which also brings a lot of fouls on him, 3.3 per game on average.

In 36 appearances for Crystal Palace, Zaha managed to score seven goals and set up another nine for his teammates.

Although he did arrive at Manchester United a bit young and inexperienced, which might explain why he didn’t manage to break into the first team at Old Trafford, Zaha doesn’t look like top player material and could fit in Spurs squad.

Arsenal are also reportedly interested again and they could find a use for him, as he has been named as a possible ‘upgrade’ on Theo Walcott but could also add decent squad depth to Arsene Wenger’s side.
