Petr Cech was on fire on Sunday… so much so that he not only saved Arsenal’s skin (sort of) in the North London Derby, he also helped Chelsea to their 3-0 win over Everton.
- Cech signed for Arsenal from Chelsea in 2015
- Chelsea’s Twitter names him in starting lineup v Everton
- Made 9 saves against Spurs for Arsenal on Sunday afternoon
It seems that Chelsea’s social media person is missing their former goalkeeper as they accidentally named him in the Blues’ starting lineup to face Everton during their early kick-off on Sunday.

Of course, there were some Arsenal fans who joked that Chelsea could have him back, given his generally poor showing this season.
However, after his impressive display against Spurs, which prevented Arsenal from going more than 2-0 down and facing a hammering at the hands of their bitterest rivals, those fans were probably eating humble pie.
At least until the next match when Cech gets caught out at his near post again anyway.
