Bendtner shows his best and worst sides as he scores

Nicklas Bendtner is doing what he does best at new team Rosenborg: scoring a few goals and basically being a bit strange.

  • Bendtner has played for Wolfsburg and Nottingham Forest since Arsenal in 2014
  • 29-year-old was known for unwarranted arrogance
  • Has scored three goals in six appearances for Rosenborg
  • Scored beauty, then ruined it with daft pose

Bendtner is on fire for Norwegian side Rosenborg since signing for them in March. In fact, he’s scored three goals in six league appearances.

His latest goal against Sarpsporg is lovely – classic Bendtner when he’s fit and ‘on’.

However, seconds after scoring the goal, which put his new team 1-0 up in the ninth minute, the Dane displayed even more ‘classic Bendtner’ by taking up a frankly bizarre, arrogant Cristiano Ronaldo-style pose.

It’s awkward and a little disturbing to watch. Just like everything Bendtner does.
