Barcelona are apparently set to return for Hector Bellerin for the 100th time after Manchester City have turned their attention to Tottenham’s Kyle Walker.

  • Barcelona set to announce new coach Ernesto Valverde on Monday
  • Keen on Bellerin but initially put off by £34m price tag
  • City turned attention to Tottenham’s Walker leaving path clear for Barca

While the Catalans have appeared to be the main team interested in signing Bellerin should he leave Arsenal this summer, which he won’t, City have supposedly been loitering.

Obviously, Pep Guardiola is well aware of what the right-back is capable of and he seems to be keen to bring the 22-year-old to the Etihad.

Although Barcelona have been incessantly linked, they aren’t too keen on Bellerin’s £34m price tag, which is how much City apparently bid for him last summer.

However, now, the La Liga giants are said to be returning for the Spaniard again since they’ve spotted an opening.

City have reportedly turned their attention to Tottenham’s Walker instead, and will, in theory, therefore be dropping their interest in Bellerin, leaving the path clear for Barcelona to just waltz up to Arsenal and take him…

As if the Gunners will magically sell him for even less money than they rejected last summer before Bellerin signed a new deal taking him up to 2023…
