Arsenal are reportedly ready to swoop in and sign Everton target, Sandro Ramirez.

  • Ramirez has been capped three times for Spain’s u21s
  • Forward has scored 16 goals overall this season
  • Arsenal ready to trigger £5m release clause

Malaga forward Ramirez has been on the Toffees’ radar for a couple of months and was even reported to have agreed personal terms with the club earlier in May.

However, it’s now being claimed that the 21-year-old is one of Arsenal’s ‘serious targets’ this summer and the Gunners are ready to trigger the Spaniard’s £5m release clause.

Ramirez, who has two years left on his current deal in with Malaga, left Barcelona last season and has since gone on to score 16 goals in 31 appearances over all competitions.

However, despite reports, La Liga expert Guillem Balagué insists that Ramirez wants to go to Atletico Madrid… if they’ll have him.

If not, he could just settle for the Premier League.

“His €6m buy-out clause makes him one of the bargains of the summer and if everything goes the way he and Atletico Madrid wants, he will go to Atletico Madrid with (Alexandre) Lacazette,” Balague told Sky Sports recently.

“But Atletico may not be able to sign him and if that is the case there are Premier League clubs waiting in the wings.”
