Arsenal will reportedly offer Kylian Mbappe a ‘central role’ if the 18-year-old chooses the Gunners over Real Madrid.

  • Mbappe has scored 14 Ligue 1 goals in 26 games (nine assists)
  • Two years left on current contract with Monaco
  • Arsenal willing to meet £85m asking price
  • Gunners set to offer 18-year-old star role up front

Arsene Wenger has made no secret of the fact that he’s monitoring Mbappe’s situation at Monaco. The manager has been after Mbappe for almost three years and has even admitted going to his house in order to convince him to move to north London.

However, the Frenchman has also acknowledged that Arsenal will find it difficult to compete with some of football’s financial powerhouses considering how in-demand the 18-year-old is following his fantastic season.

The teenager has scored 24 goals in 40 appearances (all comps) so far this season and has been attracting the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Real Madrid, Juventus, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are willing to meet Mbappe’s colossal asking price of £85m and will apparently offer him a starting role up front of the team, which is something the other clubs wouldn’t be able to promise.
