Lucas Moura is reportedly set to leave Paris Saint-Germain with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are both interested in his services.

During January, Arsenal reportedly held the talks with Moura regarding a move to the Emirates but the winger decided to stay in Paris.

The Gunners are reportedly still interested in his services but Atletico Madrid have also started negotiations and are now considered to be favourites for his signature.

Diego Simeone is very interested in the 24-year-old Brazilian and he is sure to provide stern competition to any future attempts by Arsenal to lure Moura to London.

Lucas Moura is currently playing his fifth season with PSG, having made 50 appearances in all competitions with an average rating of 7.35 per game.

He’s scored 16 goals and made six assists and his main strengths are dribbling, passing, holding the ball and taking set-pieces.

On average, he makes 1.8 dribbles and 1.8 key passes with an average of 81.7% of successful passes per game.

According to transfermarkt.com, Lucas Moura is valued at €37m with a contract until 2019.

This summer is the ideal time for Unai Emery if he wishes to offload the Brazilian as his price is unlikely to get any higher as he comes to the end of his contract.

Moura would prove a very useful signing for the Gunners as he is a natural right winger, a position in Arsenal’s squad that needs some serious strengthening.
