Just in case Arsenal fans weren’t grumpy enough following their 2-0 loss to Spurs at the weekend, it’s emerged that the Gunners only have a 5% chance of qualifying for the Champions League this season.

  • Spurs have 6% chance of winning league
  • Manchester United have 16% chance of Champions League qualification
  • Liverpool have 89% % City have 91%

Arsenal are currently experiencing one of their worst seasons in recent history; the worst under Arsene Wenger.

Under Wenger, the Gunners have always managed to qualify for the Champions League and always finished above Tottenham.

This season, however, it looks like they’ll do neither.

Spurs made St. Totteringham’s Day an impossibility this season with their deserved 2-0 win on Sunday in the final ever North London Derby at White Hart Lane.

And it appears highly, highly unlikely that Arsenal will manage to gain the six points they need to break into the top four since, statistically, they have a mere 5% chance of doing so.

1% less than Spurs have of winning the league.

Manchester United in fifth have a 16% chance of getting Champions League football.

While, Liverpool, who are currently in that coveted fourth spot, have an 89% chance.

Manchester City (third) have a 91% chance while Spurs are almost guaranteed it.
