According to a report in the Daily Star, Arsenal’s backroom staff are uncertain about their respective futures – with no update on Arsène Wenger’s own status with the club.

Arsenal’s extensive backroom staff are believed to be becoming increasingly unsettled with Arsène’s lack of an update over his future at the Emirates with his current deal expiring this summer.

The boss has teased the media who continue to question him as to whether he’ll remain at the helm beyond this current campaign, one which has seen the club’s form decline significantly since the start of 2017.

Juventus’ Allegri, Atlético boss Simeone and Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim are just three of the speculated candidates who could be Wenger’s successor and this would also see an influx of their own staff to north London, meaning plenty of jobs are under threat in the coming months.

The 67-year-old has given no hint as to whether he’ll continue, although a two-year contract extension was believed to be tabled in March.

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are said to be interested in making him their new manager if he does decide to depart this summer, having approached him at the start of April.

The club are expected to make significant changes in a ‘summer overhaul’, but Wenger has denied this will happen if he is still manager once the season is complete.

Nice to see everybody is on the same page…no wonder people are fearing for their jobs.
