Arsene Wenger spoke to the press ahead of Arsenal’s FA Cup clash against Manchester City at the weekend.
The boss gave the latest on Jack Wilshere, who has fractured his left fibula, claiming that although the midfielder’s season is over, he should be back training with Arsenal by July.
He also confirmed that Jack will be offered a new contract, although that apparently has nothing to do with the injury.
Wenger went on to speak about how special playing at Wembley, especially in the FA Cup, feels, even recalling his first one.
He acknowledged that this is most likely Arsenal’s only chance at a trophy this season, so we must give ‘absolutely everything’.
The manager was quizzed on the Gunners’ apparent interest in Schalke’s Sead Kolašinac. Although he could neither confirm or deny it, all you have to do is look at his face to see we’re in talks with him.
