Karim Benzema has reportedly been warned to seriously consider his next move.

  • Benzema said to be unhappy with criticism this season
  • Arsenal, Liverpool, Bayern, Milan and PSG all linked
  • Florentino Perez would see Bayern move as betrayal
  • Player said to cost €60m

The long-time Arsenal ‘target’ has failed to hit form with Real Madrid this season, having scored 17 goals over all competitions.

With this in mind, as well as the fact his contract with the La Liga giants runs out in 2019, Benzema is said to be looking for a move away from Spain. He’s also said to be sick of the criticism that surrounds him and considering he’s 29, there’s no wonder that he could be looking for the chance to give his career a bit of a boost.

The Gunners were recently reported to be willing to offer the France international £300kpw, shortly after they were rumoured to be handing Alexis Sanchez the same amount. However, Arsene Wenger followed these up by insisting that Arsenal weren’t in the position to be dishing out wages that high.

Meanwhile, according to Don Balon, Liverpool, who are apparently looking for a big name to potentially replace the injury-prone Daniel Sturridge; Milan; Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all also said to be very interested.

Diario Gol [via the Express] claims, however. that a move to Bayern would be seen by Real president, Florentino Perez, as a betrayal and Benzema has therefore been warned against it.
