Sead Kolasinac to Arsenal is reportedly ‘95% done’.

  • Kolasinac medical already completed
  • Set to overtake Monreal in pecking order
  • Wenger pleased with early deal

According to Bleacherreport, Kolasinac has already had his medical with Arsenal and the left-back’s deal is 95% complete.

“One source described the deal to me as being ’95 per cent done,’ which is about as much of a sure thing as you get in transfer dealings these days,” they say.

The deal has been reported on and off so many times it’s hard to know what’s going on. One minute, the Schalke defender has signed for Arsenal, then he’s in north London, then his father is saying he hasn’t and he could just as soon sign for AC Milan.

Next thing we know, Manchester City, Spurs and Everton are all in the mix, while other outlets insist that he’s still signing for Arsenal and he has in fact completed a medical.

All we can do right now is wait. However, it does appear that the deal is moving along steadily and Arsenal should be allowed to announce the signing of Kolasinac shortly.

The 23-year-old is supposed to be replacing Nacho Monreal in the pecking order.

Wenger is said to be happy to get this deal done so early.
