A week-and-a-half ago, Sead Kolasinac to Arsenal was said to be a done deal; now, Manchester City are set to try and snatch the left-back from under the Gunners’ noses.

Sead Kolasinac, who Bosnian sources claimed had already signed for Arsenal earlier in the month before his father denied the reports, still hasn’t put pen to paper for any club just yet, which has invited speculation that he could be signing for someone other than the Gunners.

According to Bild, Manchester City, who the German press have heavily linked with a move for the Schalke defender, are still very much in the race to sign him, as are AC Milan.

They even claim that talks have already taken place between the Bosnia international and Pep Guardiola’s club.

The 23-year-old, who is known for his aggressive style of play, is out of contract in the summer and is therefore fully within his rights to discuss a contract with a new club and even announce it once a deal has been struck.

Although the general consensus still seems to be that he’ll sign for Arsenal, it’s by no means a foregone conclusion.
