Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s situation at Arsenal.

  • Oxlade-Chamberlain is said to be unsettled at Arsenal
  • Jurgen Klopp is a long-time admirer
  • Midfielder is valued by Arsenal at £35m
  • Ox has played an average of just 50.48 minutes per Premier League appearance this season

The Ox is said to be unsettled after failing to cement himself in Arsenal’s first team. The midfielder has been gradually getting more game time under his belt this season but apparently this isn’t enough and the England international could be looking to leave this summer if the situation doesn’t improve.

With just over a year left on his contract, Arsenal would have to sell him this summer if they want to make any money if he doesn’t sign an extension. However, negotiations are expected to restart once the season’s finished.

According to an EXCLUSIVE in the Telegraph, Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, is waiting in the wings ready to swoop in if the Ox does decide to leave north London. He’s said to be a long-time admirer of the 23-year-old and would gladly bringing him to Merseyside.

Arsenal reportedly value the Ox at £35m but apparently this isn’t enough to scare off Liverpool, who are currently nine points above Arsenal in the Premier League table in third.
