Jakub Jankto has admitted that he could see himself playing in the Premier League.

  • Jankto keen on Premier League or La Liga move

The highly-rated Udinese midfielder has been performing well in Serie A this season, scoring five and assisting four in 22 appearances, piquing Arsenal’s curiosity.

Juventus and Inter Milan are also said to be keeping their eyes on the 21-year-old, who recently scored on his debut for the Czech Republic’s senior team against Lithuania. However, Arsenal are reportedly very keen and have stepped up their interest.

It seems that Jankto would be open to a move to England.

“It’s not the time to talk about it yet but I can see myself playing outside Italy, if we talk about the long-term,” he said.

“I’d like to try new experiences, maybe in the Premier League or La Liga.”

Interestingly, these comments seem very familiar. In fact, Jankto said something similar recently.

“I want to play abroad, to try some new experience. I’m curious, I want to know other things,” the defensive midfielder told Tuttomercatoweb via talkSPORT at the end of March.

“I certainly do not see myself in Italy too long, certainly not up to 25 years.”

Unless these are the same comments that have been changed slightly through different translations and are just getting recycled now, it seems that the youngster really wants a move…
