Antoine Griezmann is a very popular boy if his sporting advisor, Eric Olhats, is to be believed.

  • Griezmann signed for Atletico Madrid from Real Sociedad in 2014
  • Griezmann signed a new contract with Atletico Madrid in June 2016
  • The striker’s release clause is reportedly £85m

Griezmann has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer but apparently just about everyone and their mums have been on the phone trying to get hold of the striker.

In fact, his advisor, Olhats, says a whole host of teams have already been in contract over a transfer.

“Nothing concrete, but Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real have inquired,” Olhats told RMC [via Sport Witness].

The France international has scored 14 La Liga goals in 29 appearances and bagged seven assists this season. In all competitions, he’s scored 22 in 42, and at the age of just 26 he’s a man in demand.

Although Arsenal were never seriously linked with Griezmann, it now seems definite that the club aren’t going to bother considering the amount of hype surrounding him. He’s not only most likely out of the club’s price range but there’s far too much competition from all over Europe.
