Jack Wilshere has admitted that he has not made a decision about his future and he will sit down to think about it in the summer.

With just one year left on his contract with Arsenal after this summer, there has been much speculation over his future. And while Bournemouth are back managing Jack’s fitness after the injury he picked up against Manchester City, he seems to have done enough to prove that he can stay fit over the course of a season – if he manages to avoid being hit late by other players.

“I’m not thinking about it,” he said.

“I’ve got a year left at Arsenal. As soon as the season ends, I’ll sit down and I’ll think about it.

“But my main concern at the moment is trying to keep Bournemouth in this league.

“No matter what happens next year – if I’m here, if I’m not, if I’m at Arsenal, whatever – you know no-one wants a relegation next to their name.

“You don’t want to be involved in a team that got relegated so that’s what we’ re doing now, trying to put Bournemouth in a good position.

“At the end of the season I’ll have a think about it.”

Jack was a late sub for Bournemouth against West Ham and his introduction played a key role in Josh King scoring the winner for the Cherries in injury time.

As for his contract, it’s one of a number of that run out next summer including Mesut Ozil’s, Alexis Sanchez, Kieran Gibbs, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
