Arsenal have released a statement acknowledging that they do take into account how the fans feel regarding the way the club’s run.

Chairman Sir Chips Keswick has made it clear that the board have noticed the unrest among fans recently and claim they’ll take it into account. The comment, posted on the club’s official website, also says that they only have the club’s long-term interests at heart.

Apparently, once Arsene Wenger’s contract is over, the club and manager will come to a mutual decision regarding his future.

“We are fully aware of the attention currently focused on the club and understand the debate,” the statement reads. “We respect that fans are entitled to their different individual opinions but we will always run this great football club with its best long-term interests at heart.

“Arsène has a contract until the end of the season. Any decisions will be made by us mutually and communicated at the right time in the right way.”

Arsenal fans were furious following their club’s exit from the Champions League on Tuesday night to Bayern Munich after they conceded 10 goals over the two-leg tie.

At the weekend, the Gunners traveled to Anfield and lost 3-1 there after a poor display from the players.

It feels as if the club’s very quickly approaching breaking point.
