On 14 March 2015, Arsenal picked up their ninth consecutive home win with a 3-0 victory against West Ham.

The three points allowed the Gunners to close in on Manchester City in second place in the Premier League and marked the highest amount of home wins in a row since Arsenal moved to the Emirates in 2006.

A goal in the first half from Olivier Giroud, followed by late goals from Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini meant that Arsenal cruised to the win. However, they still finished third in the Premier League table, four points behind City while Chelsea were crowned Champions.

Thankfully, elsewhere, Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-0 at Wembley to win the FA Cup for the second season running after being knocked out of the League Cup 2-1 by Southampton at the Emirates, and Monaco on away goals in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, West Ham finished in 12th after winning just one of their final five games.
