A look at who may or may not be available for Manchester City when they visit the Emirates on 2 April.

Manchester City currently sit third in the Premier League, seven points ahead of the Gunners in sixth.

They’ve currently got six players out but who? And will they make a recovery before Sunday?

Ilkay Gundogan (knee)

The midfielder sustained cruciate ligament damage back in December when City beat Watford at the Etihad and has since been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Kevin de Bruyne (groin/hip)

The 25-year-old is a doubt for the clash at the Emirates after he picked up a groin injury while away with Belgium. He missed his side’s clashes against Greece and Russia. However, Belgium boss, Roberto Martinez, insists that the injury isn’t serious.

Therefore, he could feature at the weekend.

Raheem Sterling (back)

Sterling is only a minor doubt for the Arsenal game after being taken off during England’s 2-0 win over Lithuania on the hour mark.

According to England manager, Gareth Southgate, he just had a bit of tightness in his back, with the Mirror claiming that he’ll be fit and ready to face the Gunners.

Bacary Sagna (groin)

The former Gunner hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to injuries and it appears that he could miss the trip to his former home after a scan picked up a tear in his left adductor while away with France.

The defender has apparently had a tight groin since City’s Champions League clash against Monaco.

The right-back was immediately withdrawn from international duty.

He’s due to be assessed but no return date has been given at the time of writing.

Pablo Zabaleta (thigh)

Like Sagna, Zabaleta withdrew from international duty due to a thigh strain that he picked up in training, which kept him out of City’s clash against Liverpool.

He’s set to be assessed. However, the strain could keep him out for up to three weeks.

Gabriel Jesus (ankle/foot)

Jesus suffered a fractured metatarsal during City’s win over Bournemouth on Valentine’s Day.

Although he was recently pictured without crutches or a protective boot for the first time, no return date has been given and he’s ruled out for the Arsenal game.
